2018 COMMITTEE
DONAVIN REYNOLDS (CHAIRPERSON & UNIVERSITIES LIAISON)
The major reason why I am part of Vet Books for Africa is to get the opportunity to give something from myself to a team. A team that will make a difference and leave a legacy in the life of animals and people. A team that will go on an epic adventure to enrich the future of Africa.
WIKUS WEIDEMAN (VICE CHAIRPERSON, BOOKS & EQUIPMENT)
Vet Books for Africa is a project that I strongly believe in for it give me the opportunity to enrich those that do not have the same resources as we do. By doing what we do I surely believe that we make a difference in both the well-being of humans and animals.
JANCO DE LANGE (SPONSORSHIPS)
Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to give something back by becoming more. By being part of this team allows me to do so by combining my passion for animals with my love for Africa and its people.
DAISY GIDLOW (TREASURER & SECRETARY)
I’m passionate about Vet Books because I’m passionate about building a global community. Ensuring that South Africa has good veterinarians simply isn’t enough for the animals that we love. This project allows us to develop the proficiency and excellence of the future generation of vets throughout Africa. Vet Books promotes the well-being of a greater number of animals and people alike.
NATASHA VAN TONDER (FUNDRAISERS)
It is a passion to see people empowering themselves with knowledge, empowering themselves to be better and creating a better future for others, but further more the knowledge of improving the lives of animals all over Africa.
LUKE MICHAELIDES (ROUTES & ITINERARY)
Vet Books for Africa is an incredible experience and one that I cannot wait to be a part. I look forward to exploring our beautiful continent while helping universities and charities in whatever way we can to improve the lives of both people and animals in Africa.
GRAHAM TAYLOR (ROUTES & ITINERARY)
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, from travelling Africa, making friends, visiting veterinary faculties, visiting charities and just making a difference along the way. Its an adventure not to be missed, one where we can make a difference in the lives of many animals and people that are less fortunate than us.
CORMÉ RANDLEHOFF (MEDIA & CHARITIES)
Vet Books for Africa is a project I greatly believe in and am blessed to be part of. I believe we have common goals, with the objective of improving the quality of life of future Veterinarians, faculty staff members, charity members and animals. It unifies our dedication, motivation and passion to make a global difference in all fields related to animal health.
